FEEDBACK: John: I truly believe that "SEAL Team PT is a magnet for some amazing people". I joined to improve my running "hobby" and try something different. No matter how tired you are or how bad the weather is, after you get done with a STPT workout, you feel like you can take on any challenge that comes at you throughout the day. I have thoroughly enjoyed every single workout that I have done with SEAL Team PT. As a lifelong military/exercise professional (sports physical therapist, athletic trainer, strength coach) and a wealth of experience (US Air Force Academy graduate and military officer x 17 years, Iraq vet) I've done performance testing and enhancement with the US Army Special Forces, the Washington Redskins, and have worked with the White House Medical office. I've found that this program is uniquely able to train people of all fitness levels and all ages very effectively. There is a real style to the good STPT leaders-confident but not cocky, motivating without cheerleading, and challenging without injuring.

Member Quotes:
-"After you had to cancel the class on Tuesday morning because of the lightning, I had no other option but to go to the gym. Oh –have things changed! What a different world – the humming of air conditioners, the glow of fluorescent lights, the background singing of George Michael, the fresh smell of moldy rubber mats and burning treadmills going round and round, the stone cold glances from strangers. I was so lost and confused, so bored and unmotivated. I hope it doesn’t storm again."Amy"
-"Hi John,
Well, we finished our first week of STPT. It's been tough but worth every drop of sweat. I work from home and don't get a chance to get out and meet a lot of people so this class is perfect - exercise and social interaction. I may not be the fastest runner (I'm usually last) and I may not do the most push ups but I'm one step ahead of the guy on the couch! I can't wait to see where I am in 6 months. My new motto is "Friends don't let friends sit in the couch!" Looking forward to graduation next Friday and joining the SEAL Team PT membership. Hoo Yah!

-"Hoo Yah!
Joining SEAL Team PT has been one of the best things I have done forand to myself. I couldn't be happier that I put all self-doubt asideand signed up! :)
I learnt about you folks after reading a feature in the Richmond TimesDispatch a few months ago. I looked up your website, found itimpressive but wasn't sure if it was meant for somebody like me whohas an extremely sedentary lifestyle and doesn't work out at all! I read another feature about you folks andInstructor McGuire in the Innsbrook Magazine. Reading about howInstructor McGuire overcame his neck injury and does what he doestoday, was the last push I needed to sign for the BFC. And, now youguys are in the West End!!! :)
I'd be lying if I said that this has been easy for me, but this isjust what I need - since I absolutely abhor the gym and don't have thenecessary self-motivation to excercise/work out by myself. I love thededication of the instructors and how all the instructors workseamlessly with the class. I never once felt like the instructor was leading us for the first time. I absolutely love the team work and thecamaraderie that the team shares. Everybody encourages one another andit is all about getting the job done while having fun:)
Thank you for all that you do and keep up the great work!!!!!
Cheers! Meenu."
