Nicole Prairie
Nicole was born and raised in the DC-metropolitan area. After graduating from University of Maryland, she worked for CNN and Fox News Channel for four years while attending law school in the evening program. After graduating from Georgetown University Law Center, she moved to Richmond for a one-year clerkship. Toward the end of her stay in Richmond, a friend recommended she try out SEAL Team PT and she signed up in the hopes of finding adventure and camaraderie. She surely found it! After completing the basic fitness class, Nicole was hooked on the program -- she attended classes five days a week until she moved back to DC. Shortly after her move, she ran the Philadelphia half-marathon without any further training and credits SEAL Team PT with making that possible. Nicole always told her husband she'd move back to Richmond just for SEAL Team PT!
Nicole loves being outdoors, running in local races, biking, and especially loves SEAL Team PT. She is thrilled the program is now in her hometown DC and believes it is the perfect way to start the day -- full of energy, with a group of positive and inspiring people, and with the additional perk of getting in the best shape of her life! There is nothing like working out in front of the Washington Monument at sunrise. Nicole's husband, John, also joined the group. They now enjoy friendly competitions each morning on who did the most sit-ups or who was on the team of the day's "world champions." Her next goal is to lead fun, safe, and effective workouts that will be the best part of your day as well. Hoo yah team DC!
