Jeanie Trent

Jeanie Trent - Instructor for SEAL Team Physical TrainingI have lived in Richmond since the 6th grade, where I attended Byrd Middle School. I finished high school at Clover Hill in Brandermill. I remained local and attended college at VCU, and medical school at MCV.I am married to David Trent, and am a mother of four. For the past 15 years I have worked at Henrico Doctors Hospital Parham Campus as an emergency room physician.I've had a passion for fitness since my 20's when my dad got me into running. In my 30's my sister introduced me to aerobics, which I enjoyed while my children were younger, and became an aerobic instructor at the Tuckahoe YMCA for several years. Then, a friend brought me to "Bring A Friend Day" early 2003. I was hooked. I showed up the next Monday to be part of class 120. Being part of SEAL TEAM PT has been great and has provided me with new goals in fitness. Shortly after becoming a member, Instructor Bandeira encouraged me to run the Strength and Stride race, where I came in first place female. This got me hooked on running races. Since then I have run local 10k, 15k, and half marathons and the Richmond marathon. Thanks to all the hoo yahs I ran the 2004 Richmond Marathon in 3:07, was 9th female overall and 2nd masters. SEAL TEAM PT has given me strength, endurance, and belief in my abilities.SEAL TEAM PT is the best in fitness, and I am glad to be a part of it. It is the teamwork, friendship, and encouragement that keep all members of this team number one!
