Robert McLemore - Instructor for SEAL Team Physical TrainingRobert (Class #63) enjoys any evolution that involves boats, ropes, slopes or water. He is one of the first in the river in the spring and the last out in the fall. He started with STPT in order to prepare for the arrival of twin boys. Getting up early, experiencing physical challenges while keeping a clear head was great preparation.Robert currently enjoys off-road races. Any off-road triathlon, sprint adventure race, or mud-run will see him in his element. He is a founding member of Team Heavy and competes in the Clydesdale divisions. Recent highlights were a third-place finish in the XTerra after completing a week-long 700 mile bike ride as well as top 10 in the Muddy Buddy with Inst. McGuire who ran on a broken ankle. Robert also has an affinity for physical challenges. He was amongst the team which summated Mt. Rainier in '03 and summated Mt. Whitney in '07.


In 2008 he plans to try Longs Peak in Colorado. Robert holds recent certifications in EMT-B, AED/CPR, Wilderness First Aid, Red Cross Lifeguard, and AHA CPR. He aspires to one day take the Wilderness EMT from NOLS and Whitewater Guide from NOC. Usually, time with the twins gets in the way. Instructor McLemore can be found leading the 5:45am workouts.
